Dr. Lee Hardin
Like many of you, I was skeptical about Chiropractic. I didn’t know much about this form of health care, and honestly I wasn’t that interested. I thought, ‘I can pop my own back, why do I need someone else to do it?’ But I had a friend who convinced me to give it a try.
When I was finally convinced to make an appointment, I was in a great deal of pain. Several years before I had herniated a disc in my lower back from a football injury, and I needed to do something about it. Taking pain medication was not an option for me. My first adjustment was nothing short of amazing. It was a sensation I was waiting for years to experience.
Chiropractic Enables The Body To Function As A Self-Healing System
My entire life I knew I wanted to help people, but was unsure how to accomplish this and in what way I was going to help. Chiropractic answered both of those questions. I began to learn more and more about Chiropractic, read book after book, and realized this was exactly what I wanted to do with my life. I learned that Chiropractic enabled the human body to function as it was intended…. as a self-healing system.
Chiropractic Education
I began my education at Texas State University where I pursued a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. This led me to Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas where I earned the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic.
Chiropractic Philosophy
It is my goal to make every experience here a very personal, positive, results-driven experience.
The Nervous System is the master system of the body. It controls every function in your body from your movements of your limbs, regulating your heart, allows your lungs to deliver oxygen to the rest of your body, and beyond. Your Nervous Systems includes your Brain, Spinal Cord and your nerves. Chiropractors make sure that your Nervous System works at an optimal level by checking your spinal alignment. If there is a mis-alignment in one or more vertebrae your body may not be able to communicate to your brain that there is a dysfunction somewhere. Your body is a self-healing system but there are things we do during the day that interrupt this function like our thoughts (stress), traumas (minor or major), and toxins (poor diet).
Family
I met my wife, Stacy (Kelly), over 15 years ago while attending Texas State University. We had been friends for several months and both of us could tell there was something more there, but we weren’t sure who was going to make the first move. Well, eventually one of us made a move and we haven’t looked back. We have shared so many experiences together. Stacy was an NCAA athlete, playing golf, for Texas State. She introduced me to the sport and now we frequently have our dates on the golf course. Stacy formerly worked at the Four Seasons Resort in Las Colinas as the Director of Retail and we bring the same customer service and experience here at Trophy Club Chiropractic. Now, Stacy is the National Accounts Manager at Brand Junkie where she has excelled in her role. Stacy has been very influential in my life and I would not be where I am today if she was not in my life. Some of you may be lucky enough to meet her when she is helping out around the practice!!
We had our first child, Hunter Kelly Hardin, in March of 2016 and his sister, Emery Lee Hardin, entered our lives in August of 2018!!!! Both of our children have been getting adjusted since they were born. This helps keep their immune system strong in addition to proper spinal alignment.
Living The Chiropractic Lifestyle
I have been under Chiropractic care for many years. Even today I still visit my Chiropractor once a week. There are many things we do throughout the days and weeks that wear on our bodies, Chiropractors are no different. I suffered a back injury 25 years ago and herniated a disc in my low back. Chiropractic care allows me to live my life and be very active without experiencing any kind of pain or loss of function.
Enough about me! How can we help you with today’s safe and natural chiropractic care? Call our Trophy Club chiropractic office a call so we can help you take your first step towards better health.
If you are still hesitant about Chiropractic please give us a call and we can have a personal conversation and we can discuss all of your worries, without any obligation for care.
